My friend Annie visited.
I met Annie Wu 25 years ago. She interned at NBC and then came to work at WAMU.
She realized that I was someone who would help her and the news department achieve success. I was the assistant chief engineer and operations manager. We became good friends.
We went out to lunch on each other’s birthdays. Annie and I worked out WAMU’s coverage of political conventions in 2000. My wife, Doris, and I were at her beautiful wedding in Cleveland. Annie and family visited us in central Virginia.
In Cleveland Annie became Deputy Editor for Digital Content for Ideastream Public Media.
Annie came to visit us here in Rochester, Mn. A special trip from Cleveland just to see us. Doris had had a pain block and Annie took over.
We went to an art tour at the Mayo Clinic and took her to our favorite restaurants. We road in her Tesla.
